Urban Training Academy was founded and developed by Award winning independent Nurse Prescriber, Kate monteith Ross: an experienced Masters qualified nurse practitioner, specialist in wound care and an independent prescriber.

 

She is the owner of The Clinic by La Ross, an award winning, CQC registered clinic in the south of England, specialising in bringing a wide range of aesthetic treatments, energy based devices and medical services supporting her patients with a global approach.

Kate is an international key opinion leader for Dermalux, Neogen and Jalupro and is the Director of The Clinic, Urban Training academy, The Patient recovery network and co-founder and director of The Nurses network and The aesthetic pages.

 

Kate is a dedicated teacher and has written many case studies and papers on the subject of complication mitigation, surgical care, infection control, regenerative medicine and combination therapies and has been honored to present these topics globally: Turkey, Spain, Greece, Asia, UAE, Italy, Australia and beyond, she is working hard to raise the international profile of the nursing community.

Kate had been featured in national press for her work with botched surgery patients and has been featured in vogue and platinum magazine. She publishes regularly in journals and is about to embark on her Doctorate in Education, focusing on leadership within the Aesthetic Medicine landscape.

Training spans from one on one masterclasses and train the trainer events with Kate, but there is also small group training available with Kate and her team: never exceeding 1 teacher to 3 students.
